raised on the sunny beaches of california and now calling the coast of new england home, I cannot write a story without including my oldest love: the ocean. as a woman in STEM whose day job includes a lot of deferring to WASPy men, my stories are something of an indulgent manifestation—featuring biracial, queer, and opinionated women like me, who will always get their happily ever afters.
